Houston is the largest city in Texas, the fourth-largest in America, and brimming with opportunity, excitement, culture and history. A diverse city where more than 145 languages are spoken results in a food, art and community fusion unmatched in other destinations. As a current Houstonian, I personally don’t see myself living anywhere else in my lifetime. There’s a lot of great things I love about Houston. I love the people, food , and places pretty much everything about Houston. I was born and raised in Houston, and I don’t see myself leaving anytime soon.

In the summer of 2019 I went on vacation to Mexico to a small town called Gachupines, Guanajuato. While I was there I had the best time of my life. I did so many fun things from hanging out with my family and friends, playing with fireworks, to eating my grandma’s amazing food. During my two week trip to Mexico I learned a lot of new things , and I made memories I would never forget. In conclusion, Mexico was a very fun and great trip for me, and I will definitely be back soon.

My favorite sport ever since I was a kid has been baseball. My love for the game is explainable. I love baseball more than any sport because of the fact that it’s not all about athleticism, it takes smarts to be successful and the right mindset.  Hand-eye coordination is the biggest thing a baseball player needs.  The game of baseball is a game that can take everything away from you in one throw because of the easy ability to tear something in the arms and shoulders. My favorite baseball team has always been the New York Yankees. The reason this team is my favorite it’s because they are the reason I started watching baseball, and I would be a Yankee fan till the day I die.

This picture of me in my graduation gown means very much to me. The reasoning for this is that my whole life I’ve been going to school with a goal of graduating from High School. And now finally, after many years of attending school in a couple of months i would be a high school graduate. Also this picture would always encourage me and help work harder, and become a better person each day.
